Since the 2nd effect only works with monsters that have been Special Summoned from the EX Deck, it has an amazing effect of inflicting battle damage even when fighting low-level monsters with low ATK!!!
Jokes aside, "Nekroz" can be revived with the effect of ①, but Ritual Monsters cannot be revived, so it is limited to other monsters. These monsters are also not very appealing effects because there is not much point in putting them on the field.
The effect of ② is also strong against monsters that have been Special Summoned from the EX Deck, but other level 3, 4, and 6 Ritual Monsters with excellent hand effects also have similar meta effects, so the "Nekroz Decks don't use this effect for that purpose.

The strength of this card lies in its (2) effect that grants an extra monster destruction effect to all "Nekroz" monsters on the field.
In an extreme case, just by being on the field, Shritt and the Great Wizard's attacks can destroy the extra monsters. Moreover, there is no restriction of once per turn.
It's easy to misunderstand because of the Catastor's name, but if you read the effect carefully, you'll realize that it's completely different from the AOJ Catastor.

Why is Catastor a dragon?
Ritual Nekroz cannot perform ss other than rituals, so just like Exa, only three release personnel can be targeted. Shritt is the only one worth reviving.
I misunderstood, but unlike the original, the destruction effect through combat against EX affects all of Nekroz. He makes up for Nekroz's weakness in being modest in RBIs, even if he's disgusting.
